Water-sealed stop valve
I. Introduction
The water seal stop valve can be driven manually, by worm gear, pneumatically or electrically; connected by flange or welding; structured as straight-through type; sealed with soft or hard seal; with pressure range PN0.1-10Mpa, nominal diameter DN15-600mm, and materials available in cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel.

III. Applications of Water Seal Stop Valves
Water seal stop valves are suitable for condensate return systems of thermal power plants with nominal pressure PN2.5～4.0Mpa and operating temperature 0～425℃, as well as pipelines in petroleum and chemical industries that require isolation from the atmosphere. They are used to cut off or connect media, which include water, oil products, steam and non-corrosive gases.
IV. Structural Features of Water Seal Stop Valves
1. Water seal stop valves are designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB12235, featuring novel structure, reasonable material selection and beautiful appearance. Connection ends are available in flange and welding types, which can be matched according to different requirements of customers.
2. The stuffing box is designed as a water-sealed structure. With water of 0.6~1.6Mpa introduced into the stuffing, it has low friction, good sealing performance, and can isolate the entire system from the atmosphere to ensure excellent air tightness.
3. The valve stem undergoes quenching and tempering and nitriding treatment on the surface, giving it good corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.
4. Compact structure, flexible operation, convenient maintenance and long service life.
5. The back seal is made of stainless steel threaded sealing seat or surfacing austenitic stainless steel on the body, ensuring reliable back sealing. The replacement and maintenance of packing can be carried out without stopping the equipment, which is convenient and quick without affecting the system operation.
